Douglas Miller, Interim Minister
Trained as an interim pastor through the United Church of Christ, which prepares ministers in the specific skills of managing transitions
within a church, Doug Miller came to Round Hill as Interim Minister in the summer of 2010 after serving as Interim Minister at South Britain
Congegational Church in Southury, Connecticut. Previously, he served as Senior Minister at United Congregational Church in Bridgeport,
Connecticut and has also served as Associate Minister in Wilton, Weston, and Westport Congregational churches. During most of this time,
he has also been practicing law in Westport, Connecticut. He holds a B.A. in philosophy from Michigan State University, M.Div. from Yale
University Divinity School, and J.D. from University of Connecticut Law School.
He describes his call to ministry as an evolving process. "The task of a minister is to meet people where they are and put them in touch
with God. That is perhaps the best description I know of the work of a parish minister."
